3D Printing Q&A
I just downloaded the Cessna 170 models, and am working through tuning the settings for my X1C. I ordered Polymaker's PLA-LITE thinking it was the filament used in the build video. Turns out, it was actually 3DLabs "PolyLight". Anyway, the filament is different enough that I'm having to re-work the settings. I've only printed a small section of the wing so far, and was having serious 1st layer issues. I seemed to have solved that by slowing down the 1st layer, but so far, I've only had a clean print by using a much lower temp. of 240c, and a flow of .85. Has anyone had experience with the Polymaker PLA-lite? I haven't printed an entire wing yet, so I don't know how my weight is going to compare, but I'm guessing it will be over the target. I'd also be interested to hear about experiences with BL Aero PLA, as I'm tempted to order a spool to try.
Thanks
